I think I need counterweights

Post by srbarr » Tue Feb 27, 2007 8:27 am

I had to move a tandem/dual wheel tag along float around the yard and into the shopfor some work.Since the pintle hitch is a way to high for my superduty ,what a good excuse to use the 420 with the henry loader.Hooked a chain to the pintle ring and to a hook on the bucket and started backing up,it took a bit to get it rolling but it worked, with the rear of the crawler off the ground all the time.It is amazing the power of these little crawlers,it is not hard to see how they break the odd part now and again.I should be looking for counterweights but I probabaly won't be using it enough that I need them, also I am really close to being overweight for the trailer I use to float them around.About how much do you add for weight?
