420c Do I need a coil resistor?

Post by bigfoot390 » Fri Mar 09, 2007 10:01 am

I have a 12v coil without a internal resistor that I want to use on my 420. what are the specs if I need one for a resistor or resistor wire and where would I put it in the circuit?

Seems to me about 3 ohms, but could be wrong. It goes in the hot wire to the coil. A Chrysler ballast resistor should work.
