Which way would you go on these control valves?
I'm starting to plan the reassembly of the 1010CA and I've got a question about the best way to go on the hydraulic controls. My crawler is an early version and was fitted with a single remote hydraulic control with the lever mounted in the panel. Later, when a dozer blade was added, the newer style remote valve box was installed on the right fender.
Here's the question. If you were reassembling the crawler with the idea that it was to be true to form, would you go with the double valve mounted in the panel or would you leave the single valve (for the 3pt hitch) and reinstall the fender mounted double valve (of which only one is used for the blade lift)?
I can see the merits of both and the tractor was undoubtedly sold with just the single valve, but I think it would look better with the panel mounted double; provided that I could find the other lever (T14727) and the required linkage.
Your thoughts and suggestions appreciated.

Thanks Lavoy. If I'm reading my parts book right, I believe the dual valve I have in the fender mounted box is the correct valve. It just needs to be mounted in the panel where the single valve is mounted. The control rods and yokes are the same for the single and double so I shouldn't have too much trouble there. The spacer comes out and the second handle (T14727) goes in and I think that does it. Or is the valve different?
If not, I think the only rub is the second handle. Seems like I should be able to find one somewheres.

Thanks again Lavoy. The book shows that the double valve is a Deere AU11605U for both the early and late 1010s but I'll know better after I set it up on the mounting plate and see if everything is going to line up.
Do appreciate any help on the other parts. The control rod is a T14718 and the yoke is a L324T. The bigger deal is the lever.

bill, do u plan on using this dozer at all? if u are u might find it hard to use the blade with the control on the dash. i had a 2010 tractor with a dash mounted 3pt control and hated it. i will call a friend today and pm u if he has the parts.

I'm at the point of being more interested in the restoration and being true to form for the original tractor. I'm thinking you're probably right on the usability aspect and that's why the later models went to the control valve box mounted on the fender. For the little I might use it, I'd rather have the look of the older tractors and sacrifice a little of the ease of use.
Any help you can give me on the second lever (T14727) would be great. The other pieces are either common or easily made. Thanks.
