Can anyone tell me if weld on sprocket rings are available for the 2010C.
I am getting conflicting answers. My JD dealer and a track dealer says they are, but a couple of other sources said they are not.
Side bar, still can't get the steering shaft out, am ready to take the Metabo to it and cut it out
Sprocket rings for 2010
Lavoy or one of the other guys more familiar will need to confirm it but the 2010C can use the 350C weld-on sprocket rims and those are readily available. Now if you own a 1010C like me, you're pretty much out of luck. Seems like there are other older posts on this topic you might want to run a search on.

Until proven wrong, I will say there are not weld on rims for 2010 sprockets. What guys are thinking of are the weld on 350 rims and they fail to understand that the 2010 uses a substantially larger diameter sprocket. That being said, if they will return your money if they don't fit, try it just for fun.

Lavoy,
You sure know a ton more about this stuff than I do but I'm curious if you know why Deere used the same basic sprocket diameter through the 1010s, went to a bigger sprocket on the 2010s, and then went back to the same diameter again on the 350s? Did the 2010 have different rails or are they the larger pins and bushings like the 350s but the same pitch?
I'm not thinking of getting a 2010 but a 350 isn't entirely out of the question. I'm just really curious as to what caused Deere to make the decisions they did on the 2010. Thanks for any light you can shed.

There are a few anomilies with the 2010. If you look at the finals, they are rotated to the rear slightly, Deere never did that on any other crawler before or after. The larger diameter inward dished sprocket was another. Could just be growing pains associated with making a larger crawler than they had in the past.
