420 fun

Post by country53 » Thu Jun 16, 2005 5:02 am

I was using my 420 yesterday evening and it was a lot of fun. I pushed some ditches in road where I had fed cattle all winter, found out big rocks will rock your world. Shoved out 3 hedge apple trees about 6" in diameter.
Lot of fun I'm starting to think the 2 years of work and several thousand dollars might of been worth it.

Country-

Glad you are having fun on you lil 420. One of the first things I did with ours was dig out an old apple stump.. it was cut off about 5" above grade. The tree was probably 20-25 years old. It's amazing what these lil crawlers will do if you apply them properly.

Yea there tuff. I was talking to guy here at work that had a 420 and traded it for a D4 cat, he said he wished he had his 420 back. He said the 420 would do about anything the D4 would do (given enough time) but the 420 was more manuverable and a lot easier to work on.
