440icd Starter

Does any body know of a place that has the bendix for the 440icd crawler. Took mine in the other day to have fixed and they called me today and said they where having trouble finding the bendix. Thought I would check on here in case they don't find one. Thanks Howard

Howard,
There used to be a guy in New Bedford, Mass that worked on collectable and antique auto and tractor starters and generators. My dad had old Volvos that this guy could find parts for. I think the shop is called Eurotec. The guy's name was Mark. If he's still there, it might be worth a shot. Good Luck.

Talked to my dad and I think I had the name a little screwed up. It was Euroelectric not Eurotek. Sorry about that.

I rebuild starters on the side. I have a good network of parts suppliers. If you can give me some info on your starter, I might be able to give you parts suppliers or get them for you.
