I have come along way on the rebuild of my 2010C dozer. I have completly rebuilt the under carriage, new rollers, new front idlers and shafts, new upper idlers and shafts, new sprocket on one side, welded sprocket on other side, and new chains. I am still looking for another sprocket.
I had the machine out yesterday doing some grading. Worked like a charm. Put the girl in the barn last night, came out this morning and found what I think is a hydraulic leak. It is coming out of the inspection plate for the clutch. I can't tell if it is the hydraulic pump disconnect shaft seal or the transmission input shaft seal. There is to much oil iside to tell exactly where it is coming from. I am thinking about using UV dye in the hydraulic fluid. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
