440ic stoped moving and grinds

i was out moving logs ,and the days were going then i stoped moving does anyone have any ideas ?i looked into the manual and knowticed a shaft with a couplingon page 40.#4 being the propeller shaft #2being the coupling . i got the engine loose but havent got it lifted out tonight .the crawler was working fine ,i got off to position a log ,got back on ,put it in gear and grind''' the tranny stiil goes in gear and feels fine although the transfer of the power is gone the pinnion wont turn ,it just tries to. thanks . I NEED PARTS WHEN I BREAK IT.

Sound like the reverser if you have one, or could be engine clutch.

I bought a 1010 that the input shaft was so bad that it would just grind.
