1010 roller axles and/or replacement rollers

Post by dnormand25 » Sun Jun 10, 2007 5:44 pm

Lavoy,

Are there after-market rollers for the 1010 currently available. if so ,do you know the ball park price? I may still rebuild mine, but since Deere raised the seal prices I have a bad taste in my mouth, Do you offer an after market axle for the early 1010 bottom rollers? I am contemplating different approaches for my rebuild and would rather not buy axles from Deere.

Axles from Deere are close to $100 I believe if not more. I can get aftermarket sealed lifetime rollers for about $130 depending on what bolt size. I just put a full set of them on the 420 I am restoring, there are pics in the show and tell section.

Lavoy, I am looking to purchase a full set of 10 for my 1010 rebuild. the bolt size appears to be a 1/2"-20 thread 1 1/2" overall 1 1/4+- thread length. if you need further information let me know. i'd like to shop this to area code 39455.
