Hello,
The control valve for raising and lowering the loader on my JD440IC has become sticky. It takes more force to activate the valve and it can stick on causing the loader to keep on dropping or lifting. Sometimes, I have to force it back into the neutral position. This occurred overnight. One day it was fine, the next it was giving me problems. Any idea what is happening and how I can fix it?
Thanks,
Derek

Sounds like one of the o-rings has let go, or there is something in the valve.

Should I pull apart the valve assembly and check for failed components and debris?
