Surging 1010

Post by Tiny Crawler » Mon Jun 25, 2007 8:23 pm

My crawler was operating normally and then:

Pull back on the Left steering lever and it stops completely and just kind of surges slightly. Let off and it moves forward and back fine, pull on the Right steering lever and it steers fine with some brake slippage though, Checked adjustments and all looks fine,

Could there be something wrong with the right final drive or clutch brake assy?

Wanted options before tearing apart the finals.

Sounds like your right side clutch assy is going south. I had the same thing happen to me on my 350, and I replaced the fibers, steels, and new pressure plate, and it fixed the problem. Good Luck.
