no power left track

Post by brian » Sat Jul 09, 2005 11:17 am

hello again, I got my crawler jacked up thought I'd start engine and see if I could rotate master link in track. I was able to move track. Is it possible that splines aren't torn out and there slipping I've made sure clutch is adjusted right. If so is there anything I can do without tearing it all apart.

thanks Brian

Brian-

If there is any doubt; tear it apart. Trust me I just went through one side and am fixin to pull the next side off. It is a big intimidating the first time through but it really isn't that bad. Just make sure you take time to clean it all up and make sure it is all put back correctly. I wondered if it would be worth it as I was taking it all apart but it was.

Have patience and you can do it. It is just a lil heavy.
