Missing adjusting screw

Post by Davie Sprocket » Tue Sep 25, 2007 9:53 pm

While looking to adjust the clutch throw out on the right side of the crawler, the adjusting nut that your supposed to attach the 1/2" socket and speed handle to is completely missing. Is there any were i can get this bolt, or can i get a size and length for it.

Might be in the bottom of the housing, fish around with a magnet?

It is a 5/16" bolt, 3/4" long give or take, use a good heavy flat washer with it.

I didn't think of that, i did see a washer in the bottom of there when i was using the flash lite to take the pic. Hopefully getting that set is the only problem.

Thanks guys.
