TRACKS

Post by 440 CRAWLER » Sat Jul 16, 2005 5:43 pm

Just wondering if there is a proper way for tracks to be running , most pictures show the grouser bar toward the back of the pad when the pad is against the ground , but my machine has them the other way and i have seen some other machines like this , can this cause any damage?

The easiest way to remember is that the "grouser" leads, therefore as the track comes around, the grouser should be the first thing to touch the ground.
With the tracks reversed, you run more of a risk of getting a rock or something in between the pads.
