Hi.
I know a bunch of you know the difference in 1010 and 350 tracks/rails.Unfortunately,I don't.I own both machines, a 1010 diesel loader and a 350B dozer.I have measured EVERYTHING and can not come up with a difference other than sprocket width. Is this the only difference?/I have heard talk of 350 weld on sprockets for 1010 to adapt 350 tracks.Maybe my machine has this done???Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The 350 went to a 1 - 3/16" pin from the 1" pin used on the earlier crawlers. The bushing is correspondingly larger going from a 1 - 9/16" OD on the earlier crawlers to a 1 - 3/4" OD on the 350.
350 rails are a really common upgrade on a 1010. Sure yours hasn't been done?

wwattson,
Thanks for the reply. As you can see by the picture above,my 1010 also has solid front idlers??All of the 1010's I have seen have had (spoke) style idlers.I will measure the pins/bushings tomorrow with a set of calipers.

I believe the solid idlers were an option and the idler size would be the same in either case. Would be curious what you learn. If I had an everyday working machine, I would sure go with the 350 rails and weld-on 350 rims.

Yes, I agree on the 350 rails and weld on sprockets. My 1010 undercarriage has alot of life left as you can see by the pictures. The reason I am asking is just for information. Also,I am looking at a straight 350 loader that needs an undercarriage.I may swap everything and unload the 1010????

Pretty sure that is 1010 rail, I have never seen that teardrop shape on 350 rails.
