looking for a 420c crawler

Hi, hope this is the right place to ask this question.
I'm trying to track down a 420c crawler that once belonged to my grandfather. I have no paperwork or numbers, but do know that it was owned by edward pfeffer since 1978 in western new york. I assume it was sold within the last 10 years by him. Does anyone have advice on how to start?

Sounds like you need to locate Edward. If he is deceased and had a SS number, you may be able to find out where he lived (county) by checking on the internet. If you use this method, it is very helpful if you have his middle name or initial. Some sites will list SS numbers (deceased only). Also, try internet phone book. Unless you have other info on this crawler, you must find Ed or his relatives.
