Manual adjuster

How does the manual adjuster work? how does the grease adjuster come out? lavoy,do you have any of these? how much are they. a portion of the head of ours chip off and losses grease and wont hold tension on the track. is there any other ideas how to fix this.thanks for the info.

The manual adjuster is just a threaded rod on the idler, and a big nut welded to the adjuster pipe. They work fine until they rust up.
I may have a used hyd adjuster, and can get new aftermarket ones.

if you have a good used hydraulic one that would be great. If not,how much would the new ones be? hydralic or manual?

Gary,
I would have to check on a used hyd, new hyd are about $320 give or take. They do not look like original if you are concerned about that, but function great. No new manual adjusters, truthfully I had not thought about it until now, but I have a rusty one to use as a pattern, might look into it.
