Lavoy or anyone in the know,
Why do the late 440's and early 1010's have the "shallow dish" sprocket? Is the track width narrower or are the final cases with the added webbing thicker?

The axle and final drive case both are different. If you stand the later axle next to the earlier axle, it is about an inch longer. Can't remember off the top of my head, but I think the treadwidth stayed the same.
