1010 Reverser Problem

I had my 1010 resting in the shop about to start a complete rebuild this winter when my 544 loader broke a hose today and had to use the dozer to tend burn piles in the grove. All went well until on the way back in, all forward gears except 1st seemed to lack power. Then even 1st lacked power and would not move. The strange thing is that no mater what forward gear I tried, the reverser would go fine in reverse, but not forward. I am wandering if anyone has a rough idea as to what might be the problem so I can tend to it when I have everything apart later.

I would check fluid level in the reverser, or, drain it altogether, put in new filter, and new fluid.

Thanks Lavoy - that's what it was. Funny how reverse worked well but not forward. It was the filter and low fluid.
