I really need to get some parts books!!

Back to the question: I have a late model 40 that's looking like it going to get parted out an early 420. I'm thinking I would like to keep some parts and some that the 420 is missing.

1. Hyd pump? None on the 420
2. PTO? None on the 420


These would just be spare parts:
1. radiator
2. starter
3. front or rear sprockets
4. cross bars (one on the 420 has extra length welded on each end)
5. any other siggested pieces for spares?????

420 has a larger hyd pump, 40 PTO is unique to only the 40, does not fit the 420.
All the other parts you listed are different with the possible exception of the starter depending on your serial number.

The only other things I can think of are the generator, battery box, front grill guard, grill screens and fenders. Maybe some sheet metal but I don't think the 40's are better than the 420.

Looks like the whole 40 is going.
