JD Model 35 vs 36 Ripper

Post by bighamlin » Thu Aug 18, 2005 5:47 pm

I have a JD model 35 (1960-1962) ripper on my 1010 and can only find the shanks and tips from a model 36 (1963-?) ripper. Does anyone know if the model 36 shanks will fit the model 35? I have the parts diagrams of both and it looks like it will fit other than the retaining wedges are different. The only other real difference I see is that the spacing of the 5 holes on the #35 is equidistant vs the #36 which has 3 near the middle with one on each end. Thanks
