Rollers for 440

Post by JD440ICD2006 » Sun Mar 30, 2008 8:44 am

I am trying to get 4 rollers shipped at a reaonable cost from basically the west coast to the east coast. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I have contacted UPS, USPS, and a few others.
The rollers are about 45 LBS each.

I just had good luck having a JD440 transmission shipped via www.freightquote.com. They are a broker and will find shippers to arrange the pickup and the delivery. I was impressed with their speed, personal service, and price. You need to set up an account on their website and then enter an inquiry. They will call you with a quote.

Have you tried DHL? Basicly no customer service, but they seem to ship heavy items cheaper than UPS, Fedex, & USPS. Just have to put it in some sort of makeshift box.
