1010 tracks vs 2010 tracks

Post by cat10til2 » Fri Apr 04, 2008 11:25 am

Is there any difference between the two other than the number of pads? I have a chance to buy a used set off a 2010 and was wondering if they would fit my 1010?

thanks

Later 2010's after 42,000 used 350 links, and many of the earlier crawlers were later converted. You will need to measure the pin or bushing diameter to be sure. 1010 is 1" and 1 9/16".

Hi Lavoy-

Since we are on the subject, how is the availability for the 1010/early 2010 pins and bushings? WWatson got me to thinking that maybe I need to get me a set to go with my sprockets/idlers.

Right now, very poor, no way to predict at all. I have one vendor that claims he has some coming, and another salesman at the same place says no they are not, so who knows. About all I can do it check periodically to see if some came in.

I hope to get up to check out the tracks on the 2010 this week. Last I was there to see it, the snow was still over the top of the tracks! Some of this rain and warm weather should have helped it out a bit.
thanks for the info.
