1010CA John Deere Name Plate colors

Just double checking but I think the correct colors for the Ag crawler are Deere yellow background with polished aluminum for the letters and border. Anybody know for sure?

Normally what I have seen is a puke yellow background with black letters I think, maybe polished letters. Maybe you can blow up the pic I posted of the two 1010 ag's.

Thanks Lavoy, I forgot about you posting those. The one in the rear looks like the name plates were replaced with industrial plates as it is polished letters with a black background. The one in the front is definitely yellow background with polished letters and border. The picture in the photos section is also a polished border but it's not positioned so you can see any of the letters.

I've got an ERTL 1010CA model and it also has polished letters and border. Looking at my name plates, I can see no hint of any black anywhere on the letters. I'm just trying to make double sure before I put a bunch of time into repainting the background color.

I have seen a few original ones, and all of them had the pukiest yellow color for the background. To me, I would think they would use the ag yellow, but it isn't.

I just always thought they were faded but the ones I have look like the ones on the front crawler in your picture. It's a real light yellow. Wonder where I can find a paint schedule for the name plates.
