original manifold removal

please give me any advice. As to a step by step process to remove a original manifold from a 1960 1010 crawler loader as there is little room for drilling broken studs. i am so afaid of broken studs at this stage please send reply to wohurst@aol.com the hole is in the exhaust portion inback and above of the carburator.
