2010 loader bucket to blade convertion

Post by bob2010c » Mon Apr 28, 2008 7:00 am

2010c ....A couple questions... 1. Convertion from loader to Blade. How labour intensive is it? 2. What would you be looking for in parts to convert. Time? Money? Parts Availability? 3.Was there or is there a Blade that can be installed where the bucket is? Bob

Conversion to a regular dozer would be a lot of work, and you would need the dozer, mounts and hyd valve at the least to do it.
There was a dozer blade attachment that goes in place of the bucket. There was also a dozer blade attachment that hooks up like a regular dozer, but a couple of linkage pieces go down from the loader arms to lift it.

Availability will be just by chance, no way to guess on price.

Depending on what you plan on using it for if you use it on your own stuff try making one out of an old snow plow. You can pick one of those up fairly cheap.
