440 3-pth

1st time to try to use forum. I was looking in parts book and understand little and big transmission ; big is after serial no 448001, small is before. Question Will the touch-o-matic system used on the tractors fit to the crawlers? The holes from the parts book look the same on both systems, except for the load-and-depth control anchor yoke. Is there enough room inside the differential box to just drill a hole in the cover and install the touch-o-matic 3-pth? I would like to add a 3-pth to my 440IC. Thank-you. GM440IC.

There is almost no parts interchangeability between crawler and tractor as far as the 3PT hitch goes. They are two entirely different hitches, and operate quite differently.
