John Deere 350c

Post by BSims66173 » Thu Sep 22, 2005 7:11 pm

I have a JD 350c that I am having to repair one of the final drives. Seal went out and bearings worn out. Anyway, i used to have a tech manual for this machine, but I loaned it to a friend whom I have lost contact with. I need to know the capacities and types of oil for the trans, reverser, and finals. I am going to change it all while I have it in the shop. Thanks in advance and I must say this is a great site.

From my 350C manual:
- Transmission, Steering Clutch Housings, & Final Drives = 10 US gallons.
- Direction Reverser Case = 12 US quarts.
- Oil used is JD Hy-Gard Transmission and Hydraulic Oil (J20A) or equivalent. Or John Deere Hydraulic Oil (J14C) or equivalent.
