U-bolts for Blade Attachment

Post by ejb17 » Fri Aug 15, 2008 9:40 am

I found an oldtimer at a spring shop here that would take the time to make the triangular shaped u-bolts that attach my 62 blade to my 420C. If those fit other setups and anyone needs help getting them let me know and we can send them to you. I will be happy to help as a round u-bolt just does not seem to cut it especially when doing a resto. Eric

I'm tempted since my bolts were cobbed from threaded rod, don't have any money though. You might want to talk to Lavoy and see if he wants to buy several to have in stock (assuming it wouldn't be harder on that guy to make a bunch). I know he did not have any of the V-bolts that hold the block in front of the sprocket.
