420 gas cylinder compression

Post by Paul Buhler » Sat Aug 16, 2008 3:12 pm

Does anyone know how many pounds of compression a tight 420 gas engine runs? Thanks.

90-120 psi is what sticks in my head.

Thanks, I'm getting 125 and 128. My machine came with a glopped up air cleaner, and it appears that it was run that way for quite a while. I cleaned everything up and tuned the engine to specs, and it seems to be running quite well. I changed the oil yesterday and a lot of carbon bits (no metal) came out with it so I think the machine is on the road to recovery. Paul
