Help 440IC won't go in gear!!!

Help 440IC won't go in gear!!!
I started my crawler after sitting a few weeks and it will NOT go in gear!The clutch linkage is moving and feels good with about 1in. of play.I started it in gear and moved it,pushing in the clutch did NOTHING!I had to pull back on both sticks to stop it.WTH is going on???Thanks

This has happened to my wheel tractors on occasion as well.
I don't know if it would work with a 440 crawler, but on our wheel tractors we would tow it with another vehicle in a higher gear and then rapidly work the clutch pedal. Sometimes that is enough to break it loose.
I guess you would have to have something that could tow the crawler though, and I'm not sure it is good for the transmission or final drives in a crawler. Also not sure if you could really tow a crawler like that!
