440icd

im buying a 440 icd with a 831 loader and a 50backhoe on it am wondering what the weight of the machine is. thanks

I'm not sure about the 440ICD, but according to JD spec sheets the Model 50 backhoe (excluding bucket and brackets) weighs approx. 2455 pounds.
(1) JD Straight 450 crawler dozer with manual outside blade; (2) JD 2010 diesel crawler loaders; (1) JD 2010 diesel dozer with hydraulic 6-way blade; (2) Model 50 backhoe attachments, misc. other construction equipment

A brochure that I copied off an eBay auction indicates the basic 440ICD as 6000 pounds shipping weight. Based on my observations of my two 831 loaders I will bet they are over 2000 pounds easy. So it looks like you are looking at at least 11,000 pounds for everything. HTH
