steering press. plate

Post by millertym2 » Wed Nov 02, 2005 5:31 pm

A few weeks back I put my MC together and installed new LH steering clutch's but used my old pressure plate.(here's my problem) After running for a hour or so I had to readjust the clutch. Then adjust it again after roughly the same amount of time. Now Im at the end of my adjustment. Do I need a new pressure plate? Or is there something else wrong?

I am guessing that there is something else wrong, there should be no way to eat up that much adjustment in that short of time period.
