As I have discovered a issue with my reverser looks like someone has rebuilt it and when reinstalling the rear clutch assembly they didnt pay close attention to which side of the reverser housing the adjusting lock pin went and it is on the opposite side of the rear access hole.
MY question is can I take the shifter cover off (with the reverser still in the frame ) would reqiuire a new gasket and adjust the rear clutch through the rear fork opening so I can get to the lock pin.
Is there enough space between the frame and the reverser housing to remove shifter cover and linkage.

You might be able to, there is not a lot of room. The other problem is you need to be able to shift the reverser to know how tight to adjust it. A friend of mine has one just like you. I pulled the side cover off, and the adjuster is at about the 10-11 o'clock position as you sit on the seat. What I did is drilled a small pilot hole at an angle hoping I would just about hit on the adjuster button. Luckily I did, then I drilled it out and tapped it to 1/2" NPT. There is just enough room to reach in with a screwdriver and adjust the clutch. No it isn't the right way, yes it is cheesy, but not my crawler, and he didn't want to tear it down.
