Finally able to log on here. Thanks Lavoy. Is there a difference in battery boxe's on the m tractors and the crawlers. I put one on today that I bought at a swap meet and the door only opens about 8 inches before it hits the side rail. Hoping to take 3 crawlers to the Darke county show and then straight to Plain City but the way it is going together I don't know if I will make it or not. Thanks Howard

Yes, MC is different, it uses a two piece hinge so you can remove the door. They are obsolete from all sources except maybe used if you are lucky. What you can do is weld the hinge at a 90 degree angle, then thread in two short bolts with the heads cut off leaving a little bit of bolt sticking out. Slide the door on these two studs and latch it, same concept as 40/420.
