Crawler 3 point

Post by DiggerLarry » Wed Dec 14, 2005 12:02 pm

I got two 3 point hitch related questions. Can you get the replacement arm ball ends for the JD crawler (420) 3-point and from who? They look to be a different shape than the ball ends you get at Tractor Supply. Method of replacement would be cutting the old one off and welding the replacement end on?

Second, does anyone know the model number of ripper/subsoiler that you sometimes see mounted on the crawler 3-point?

Thanks for any help or advise.

Larry,
You can't get the correct ball ends for the 3PT arms. I have seen weld on ends that are that size, but they would look like hell once welded on. I can make you a complete new arm insert. It will be more mone than just welding on a ball end, but they are a better looking deal.
The scarifier you are referring to is the #24.
