Some industrial dealers, not just a Deere dealer will have access to custom made cutting edges. I had a couple of cutting edges made years ago when I worked for a Deere dealer. I do not know who they had make them, but it was an outside company that did it, not a Deere deal at all.

You can easily make yourself a new cutting edge yourself, Just visit your local steel service center. Most of them carry abrasive resistant bars in a 400 brinnell hardness. I know because we do. All you would have to do is Plasma cut the bolt holes.

One problem is virtually all of the Deere cutting edges use a countersunk moldboard bolt, no way to cut that type of hole. The other thing would be pretty much every cutting edge after the #61 dozer blade is a double bevel reverseable edge. Plain AR steel or something like that has no bevel and would no cut very well.

It actually is quite easier than Lavoy implies. With a plasma cutter you can cut the hole large enough so that a moldboard bolt is recessed which allows you to weld it in place. As far as the bevel most steel service centers have flame cutting track machines with a head that can be beveled to cut whichever angle desired along the length of the wear bar.
