I'm not sure about 1010's, but the reverser whine/screech/noise on the reverser on my early 350 was enough to about drive me crazy... I even traded it for a brand new 350C hoping it would be quieter, but it was almost as loud in reverse as the old one. The dealer told me that they all did it and there was nothing that could be done...I eventually solved the problem by trading for a 450C which was much quieter.
