1010 oil seal installing info

Hello need to know how to install the oil seal, there are two sides flat side and a lip side , does aneybody know the right way to install seal in quill??????????????????? :roll:

The lip towards the oil is a general rule.

Thanks ,just figured out i put it in wrong. Is there a easy way to get the quill out without taking cluch housing off, not final, but the housing,can i take the back housing off and tap it out??????????

I don't think so, I think you will have to pull the quill back off, and most likely it will wreck the seal when you take it out. I know it would if I was doing it.
