I would venture to say your are close. I have one and would think 1500 lbs would be right. I do know if you have a 420C, henry backhoe, and henry loader on a 10K trailer with an 8% grade..and a partially plugged radiator you didn't know about, you get excited real quick!! I would love to see your backhoe. Mine is not operation and anxiously awaiting restoration. oh...and if your hauling..the afore mentioned load is just about all I would be comfortable with a 3/4 pickup and good diesel engine.

thanks jd joe. yeah i was think 1500 lbs. i know when it was on my 440ic crawler and you popped the clutch it would pop a wheelie. but i only had it on there for a coulpe days and i took it off and took the front bucket and put the old girl in the shop to work on the steering clutches. i just got the parts for the right side and the left is already done so i am ready to pull it out of the garage. i am going to try to sell the backhoe if i can. it is a henry c 10 and am looking to get $1000.00 or best offer id you know of anybody that wants one. i will try to post some pictures on here of it. I hauled the crawler home on my 24 foot goose nck trailer and it took up all but 2 feet of it. the backhoe bucket was curled in and it was on the very end of the trailer and the front of the bucket was about 2 feet from the front of the trailer. good thing the trailer is rated for 14000 lbs. lol i am thinking that the crawler and bucket is about 6000 to 7000 and the backhoe is about 1500 to 2000 lbs so i was pushing 8000 to 10000 lbs on the trailer. but i have to say that the 2008 dodge cummins diesel did a great job hauling it.

I have one of these and agree about the 1500-2000 lbs. Mine is currently being restored to working order, planning on mounting it to a custom made trailer so I won't have to pack it around directly on the back of the 440ic. I would enjoy seeing pictures of your backhoe, I would post some of mine but all I have right now are unassembled pieces of backhoe.
