Clutch pressure plate

Post by sbarr » Sun Mar 21, 2010 8:34 pm

Could anyone tell me if the pressure plate for a m is the same as the one used for a 420,I have a spare for the m and looks to be the same as the 420 does, just want to make sure,(siezed throwout bearing wore the fingers)

According to the Deere parts manuals, they are the same. Both machines have listed part # AT 11853 T. Here are links to manuals I used.

Thanks for the info, looks like it will be a fairly cheap fix then since I already have a clutch, ordered the throwout and pilot bearing from the local dealer so should be able to get it all back together this weekend, thanks again
