2010 steer clutch,,help

Hi,, bought some property in southern oklahoma,, brought machine down here but no book,,, we took track off,, don't know if i need to take final
drive apart or not. any info as to where to start is what i need,, can probably get it from there, thanx Steve ( got alot of good use out of old gurl,,, now steering clutch needs some attention,, - replaced,,)

Steve,
I own a 1010 and in the 1010 the only way to replace the steering clutch is to remove the final drive. My understanding is that the 2010 is more husky than the 1010. If the 2010 is anything like the 1010 mechanically I would also consider replacing the brake band when you are in there. I would also suggest getting the manual for your machine as with the 1010 I'll bet there is a set procedure for adjusting the clutch and brake.

You can pull the clutch on a 2010 without pulling the final. In a nutshell, you pull the sprocket, pinion shaft, drive shaft, and some other assorted pieces, and lift the clutch pack out the top.
