Anyone have any experience with replacing the spacer bar on the front idler . IE wear to get parts or to fabricate

Only source new is Deere, and they are pricey.

Have you ever tried repairing the threaded ends, mine are eaten up very bad

What I do is saw the end of the rod off the thickness of a bolt head past the threads, and weld a 7/16" bolt on.
