My 420C. Kind of an interesting story.

I have met a few "sellers" that would call that "slight hairline cracks but nothing to worry about, they ALL do that."

After I bead blasted all the usable parts in the steering clutches I decided to paint the yellow stripe on the hood and front nose. Only took about 10 minutes to pull the nosepiece back off.
I covered the crawler with old blankets & bedspreads and bead blasted the right side track frame. (What a mess in my garage)
After I swept & ran a shop vac for 3 hours I painted the lower track frame yellow.
Cell phone pics don't pick up the real colors very well. I also hand painted the square stock that it all mounts too green afterward with a 1/8" paint brush. What a pain in the a$$.

We can almost hear it running. When you get it to that point, how about a YouTube or equivalent film clip? Thanks again for sharing your project - I know mine didn't get the total love and attention your's is getting, and it occasionally reminds me.

I was contemplating replacing these bolts. Instead I bought a 1" die and chased the threads. had to cut the old nuts off as they were very stubborn. Threads are all fixed and have 25 new nuts now. (spares are alwats good. LOL!!! )
This tie-bar? was missing when I acquired the crawler and threaded rod was in it's place co I made a new piece. Not the right way but I'm hoping it works for me.
Did some shopping with Lavoy.
2 new steering pressure plates
All new fiber & steel disks
2 new brake bands
2 new throw-out bearings
New bearings, seal & gaskets for both final drives
2 new brake rods with end links and pins
2 new brake rod boots
New pipe & muffler
2 new master pins for the track
New oil cap that I'm converting for the hydraulic tank
All new springs for release bearings and brake return
New battery hold down bracket
I think I covered it all?
Anyways, the guy was great to deal with. Even answered my phone calls and answered my "dumb" questions.
