1010 loader "Shoulder Pins"

Post by Diezelnut » Thu May 27, 2010 8:12 pm

I am reattaching my 1010 loader arms, and the shoulder pins, where the large arms attach/pivot have eccentric bosses where the arms pivot.

Does anyone know the proper position of these eccentrics?

There are two options, up and fwd, and down and back. I installed mine up and fwd figuring that was the direction of load from the hyd cylinders.[/img]

I think you rotate them independently to level the boom if I remember correctly.

Lavoy is correct, They are called Eccentric Pins there should be an arrow stamped on the pin head and is a guide to the offset position.

Offset Down== Boom in lowest position
Offset Up == Boom in Highest position
Offset Rear == Maximum boom Height
Offset Front== Maximum Digging Depth

I have the procedure if you are interested in in it.

Thanks for the info. I can see the need for the adjustment these pins provide.

Got my hydraulics working today after fixing a few leaks, and my bucket is crooked! I will be adjusting tomorrow.
