Lindeman steering clutches

just got it running, trying to find out what works and what doesn't. Rolls fine in all gears but no turning. I'm pretty sure the levers are way out of adjustment, does somebody have a more detailed description of how to adjust? The manual wasn't much help. Also, the throwout bearings are free floating on the shafts, shouldn't there be spring pressure holding them up against the throwout levers? thanks CalJim
