1010C Service Manual

Post by bingles » Thu Sep 30, 2010 10:46 pm

I bought a service manual off Ebay, however it sure looks short, pretty much only covers the hyd portion of my 1010C. Does anyone have a service manual for the 1010 and can tell me how many pages are suppose to be there. Mine is only 62 pages long. it says (1-62) like there is more chapters.

Let me know,
Thanks
Brian

My service manual has 446 pages (JD Part # SM-2034). My parts manual has 248 pages (JD Part #PC-727, dated Jul-67).

I am in the process of digitiging all my manuals so the I do not have to ruin them when I work on my 1010 crawler loader w/backhoe.

Hope this helps.

Ewilhelm, I put the part number sm-2034 or sm2034 into the search on http://techpubs.deere.com/deere/Default.aspx and there is nothing.

I just bought a 1010c also and would love to have the book for it. I'm pretty handy with the wrench, but it sure would be nice to have a book to show me how to check those muffler bearings.

I can't find the cd of sm2034, but I found a cheaper price on the service manual at https://www.deerelydeparted.com/p-711-s ... m2034.aspx

I'd prefer the cd. If anyone has it let me know and I would like to buy it!

$60 including shipping, and I might get it by the weekend with priority mail.

I hope it shows me how to adjust the steering brake/clutch so I can steer this little beast around the woods!
