searial number placement on MC crawlers

Lavoy today I found an MC 3 roller in a swamp about 2 miles from home and 50feet off the road I have been past that place many times but with the backhoe I was high enough to see further into the willows This thing has the old pressed steel track grousers I haven t seen these since seeing the lindman crawlers and the original dealers plate still intact from Winipeg Manitoba but no serial plate placed like the 40 s and the 420 where do you look for the numbers these old deeres are different !! digitup

Should be right in the middle of the dash around the light switch.
