Quite a bit of work on a 1010, plus there is a host of other parts that need to be added at the same time. A reverser crawler does not have a clutch, so all ao those parts would need to be added. All in all, not any cheaper than a reverser or reverser rebuilld, same amount of work or more, and the parts will be difficult at best to find.

Al, those links don't work. It looks like they require a login to view. If you have the pictures, you might try posting them on the messageboard's image hosting setup. Check the Messageboard Q&A forum for more information. http://www.jdcrawlers.com/messageboard/ ... c.php?t=45

Oh my god! Al! Here is another eBay service manual for 1010C if you dint get one already.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 82241&rd=1

I am going to show these pictures to the woman, then she won't think my stuff is all that bad! Just kidding, you might be further ahead than if you had to disassemble. I like those pads, wish I had them for mine. I looks like there is alot of good stuff there, nameplates, lights, cool canopy. Is that a winch?

:D

PS here is a picture of mine, which has turned into an absolute money pit

Al, don't worry, those original service manuals have a tendancy to get really expensive in the last few seconds.
