u mentioned that there was a shaft to replace the reverser...if at last resort could this be done ??/and how...?

Quite a bit of work on a 1010, plus there is a host of other parts that need to be added at the same time. A reverser crawler does not have a clutch, so all ao those parts would need to be added. All in all, not any cheaper than a reverser or reverser rebuilld, same amount of work or more, and the parts will be difficult at best to find.

Oh my god! Al! Here is another eBay service manual for 1010C if you dint get one already.

I am going to show these pictures to the woman, then she won't think my stuff is all that bad! Just kidding, you might be further ahead than if you had to disassemble. I like those pads, wish I had them for mine. I looks like there is alot of good stuff there, nameplates, lights, cool canopy. Is that a winch?

I have 24 min in which to pay way more than the link u just sent me...oh well s**t happens....as for junking her NEVER she just looks bad cause shes 5 miles away from my shop.. the the reverser and engine are here...she soon will be making her way down here...shes worth her weight in gold to me...as for the winch.. yup that is a 50 ton army winch..hydrolic driven...she'll haul her self around pretty damm good.....the tracks are new and repined..new rollers...steering clutches need some work..as for showing the wife..i'll post some pics of the other toys i have around,and she'll love you for ever with the little bit of stuff u have
